What's New
What's new in Looking Glass
The latest improvements. Everything here is in the app today, and in every copy you can download from your Gumroad library.
- Post times that learn from your results: Every post and clip is scored against your usual, and new posts go out at the hours that work best for you, per platform. No screenshots needed.
- Analytics read by themselves: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads and TikTok through their own APIs (views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, watch time), plus Bluesky, Mastodon and Tumblr.
- Editing that follows your YouTube numbers: New clips are cut where your best clips hold viewers, with a note in the editor saying why. Pick longer versions three times in a row and it stops shortening.
- Full YouTube details: Translated titles, descriptions and caption tracks, a playlist per game, made-for-kids and paid-promotion labels, recording date and brand partner.
- Instagram Reels done right: Shown in the main feed, the cover set to the clip's big moment, collaborators and a place tag.
- Your comment on every clip: Posted for you on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram once the clip is live.
- Smarter pacing: Starts at 3 clips a day on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook; posts spread through the day, never bunched; one shared schedule across all your projects so nothing collides.
- A higher YouTube ceiling: With an automatic pause if YouTube says the channel has hit its daily upload limit.
- Per-project parts: Switch each part of a project on or off (with presets). Parts you switch off fold away and clear their leftovers at your next sign-off.
- Stream routing: Skip streams by words in the title, or have every project leave the other projects' streams alone. Matching ignores capitals and catches typos.
- Training that keeps up: While you're signed off, it makes practice cards for every project; each kind of writing stops practicing once it's trained; new projects get practice cards even before you add facts.
- Keep posting even without news: A per-project option for steady, evergreen marketing: topics come back on their own schedule, always in fresh words.
- Going-live posts on their own: Keep going-live posts on even when social posts are off.
- Never lose a setting: A “Not saved yet” note lists every change you haven't saved.
- New in-depth guides: The Setup Guide and the Operating Guide as PDFs, with contents pages and bookmarks.
- No street addresses: Posts never give a street address, phone number or opening hours.
Every stream, clipped and everywhere.
