🎩✨ March Hare Games
Where Mania Becomes Magic And Madness Makes Worlds
Welcome, wanderer, to March Hare Games, the ever‑spinning creative vortex of Alvie Spurlock: game developer, storyteller, chaos‑alchemist, and the one they call HattersMania. This isn't just a studio. It's a portal. A cozy, chaotic, heart‑soaked Wonderland where stories brew like tea, ideas spark like fireworks, and every visitor becomes part of the family.
💛 The Heart of the Madness
Games aren't just code and pixels, they're homes. They're warm lights in dark hallways. They're the places we run to when the world feels too loud or too quiet.
Here, connection comes before commerce. Whimsy is free. And everyone who steps inside gets a seat at the table, no invitation required.
🎩 Meet Alvie
The Mad Hatter Himself
Alvie grew up wandering empty hallways until heroes like Sora and Riku appeared on screen, offering friendship when real life didn't. A dusty PlayStation 2 became his escape hatch, his compass, and eventually his calling.
His wife, Mrs. Spurlock, crowned him "Mad Hatter", a name born from love, chaos, and the kind of creativity that keeps you awake at 3 AM scribbling ideas on napkins. So when it came time to name his studio, the choice was obvious. March Hare Games isn't just a brand. It's a love letter to his wife, to his kids, to every dreamer who ever needed a world to belong to.
My Story
I grew up as an autistic child, made fun of almost every day. Doctors told me and my mom that I would grow up wearing a helmet. I grew up, without a helmet... and the ability to function in a conventional job. I did, however, grow up with a creative mind and a big heart.
That said, I dropped out of Full Sail University during my Bachelor's. My teachers told me that living out of my car wasn't an excuse for not turning in work on time, and that my Grandma, my second mom in a lot of ways, dying was not enough reason to turn in work a day or two late.
Not long after, I discovered ASAN, the Autistic Self Advocacy Network. I put my Associate's degree into practice and made Mimic Masters as a way to help them reach their goals. I am not partnered with them, although I hope to be, someday. I donate 70% of Mimic Masters Net Revenue to them at the end of every month, of my own free will, because I believe in what they are doing.
Things like....
- Public comments on the federal autism strategic plan: ASAN urging the government to make its autism plan accessible and to put real support for autistic people first.
- The first autistic Barbie: ASAN worked with Mattel on the first autistic Barbie doll, released in January 2026.
- The "profound autism" label: ASAN explaining why the "profound autism" label hurts autistic people.

Why I Make Games
I make games I'd want to play, and games anyone can play. That comes down to a few rules I hold every project to:
- No pay-to-win, no season passes and nothing designed to drain your wallet.
- Accessible by default: colour-blind friendly, playable without sound cues, gentle on light-sensitive players, with big, easy-to-hit buttons.
- Clear rules anyone can pick up, explained by playing rather than reading.
- Calm, balanced feedback that never overwhelms.
☕ Pull Up a Chair, Traveler
…And remember: those who are called "mad" are often just ahead of their time.
Welcome to the world of The Hatter, a place built for dreamers, wanderers, misfits, and magic‑seekers.
There's a seat here with YOUR name on it.
